Whenever I have been tinkering or fixing things around the house, my son has started to grab at my tools, and pretend to use them.  I figured I should make him his own tool set!

Panels and handles are made to be switched out for different kinds of experiences.  This is still very much a work in progress, but I think its in a good spot to where I can release it.

Notes:

  • This should be used with adult supervision, the nuts and bolts definitely do pose a choking risk.  My thought around this is that if you create the Bolt/Screw Nut combos and place them in the side panels with the nut glued on the other end this should mitigate the risk.
  • The wrench is exactly sized for the hexbolts/nuts, and should probably be scaled a bit to make the fit looser.
  • I would love to see your makes, and any modifications.
  • Have fun!

Printing:

  • Hardware and Tools all printed at .16 on PETG
  • Toolbox
    • .2 Layers
    • 15% Gyroid Infil
    • 3 wall loops
    • My last print was in PLA, and has been holding up but would like to try in PETG

Post:

  • Superglue the Phillips Drive into the Screw Driver Handle
  • Handle is pressure fit
    • Might in the future make the handle have threads you can use to bolt/screw into place.
