A water cup is essential for washing little kids, add a little Magic (well science...) to the fun! When the user fills the cup under the marked line it does not leak, but when you fill past that line it then starts to drain the whole cup…
The Greedy Cup was said to be an ancient Greek Party Prank. It has an inbuild syphon that will automatically empty the Cup if its filled to high. Hence the Name of “Greedy Cup”. The original had this weird Dong in the middle of it, which…
This is a modern interpretation of pythagoras cup . The self emptying cup. With the help of 3D printers, it is now possible to place the tube in the wall of cup instead of a tower in the middle. Magic? No, just physics. The tube inside…
I first stumbled upon this concept a year or so ago in a Steve Mould science video, linked here . It explained the physics behind the amazing hydrodynamic mechanism called the Pythagorean siphon, also known as a greedy cup siphon. I have…
In keeping with the classic greedy cup shape, but a less obvious suspicious looking centre piece, hiding the siphon mechanism in the cup wall. There are three options to choose from, version 4 has a higher syphon height and thicker walls…
This is a pythagorean cup. When you fill this cup with liquid over the top of the inner cylinder, all of the liquid drains out through the siphon effect. Proven to work.
This cup (shot-glass size) empties itself if the mark "nope line" is surpassed! It serves an educational and interactive purpose (while looking as cool as possible): scientific: it has a built-in siphon, so when a fluid surpasses the…

Thank you for downloads, likes… Enjoy !
If you moderately filling the cup, you can drink from it normally, however when over filled it will drain all the content through the syphon at the bottom. Pythagorean cup - Wikipedia This should print without any support. Also see the…
Here is my take on Pythagoras' Greedy Cup. If you fill it above about 60%, it will empty itself out of the hole in the bottom. I tried my best to make the shape sneaky so people might not notice the holes until they've triggered the…
Print at 0,2mm layer height. Use 15% infill. Credits: https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pythagoras How it works:
You may have heard of the Pythagorean Cup. This is the shot glass version! The glass holds liquid, no problem. But, if you fill the cup too close to the top, it begins to syphon the liquid through the center column and out the hole in the…
I has been succesfully printed this stuf in 100%. Please use at least 3 perimeters to ensutre that it is waterproof and not leaking. For scalling to 200% - normal cup size it is a good idea to use 4 perimeters and 40% infill. There are…
This is my take on the classic Pythagorean cup. I've hidden the syphon in the wall of the mug so nothing immediately seems off. The Handle needs supports but they would mess up the syphon so you'll need to mask off the actual mug to make…
Two versions aviable: V1 with holes on the bottom only - looks less suspicious. V2 with additional side holes - harder to cover, and prevent leaking. Also aviable as a regular mug: https://www.printables.com/model/1026071-regular-mug
Pythagorean mug is a practical joke device in a form of a drinking cup, based on the original design by Pythagoras of Samos (same guy that brought you the Pythagorean Theorem) to find greedy guests during parties.
A disguised Pythagoras Cup designed to trick or prank your friends! It does look ordinary, isn't it?
Greedy Cup (Pythagorean Cup) is a fun way to explain fluid mechanics. Add liquid below the mark, everything is ok, but exceed the mark, and watch the cup empty itself to the last drop! No Support needed. It's recommended to make the seam…
Pythagoras Cup that works by siphoning the water out from the bottom when the water reaches a certain level
If you over fill the cup past the cylinder even a little bit it will all spill out the bottom though the hole.
Teach children about fluids in the bath. The Greedy Cup Siphon, properly called the Pythagorean cup works on the same principal as a modern toilet bowl. When the water level in the bowl rises high enough, a siphon is created, emptying the…
This is a single part print that I successfully printed with 0.2 mm layers and a 0.4 mm nozzle. It takes approximately 75mm of overflow to allow the siphon to begin draining. Please be careful and place a cup under the fountain drain or…
Grimm's Fairy Tales - Rumplestiltskin - The Greedy King 3D printable model
i designed this and posted it on thingiverse and now posting it here
This model has a smaller channel than most other models, which provides a slower drip or stream. I have been able to drain the cup in it's entirety as long as the water is able to enter the hole. The smaller channel provides a better…
This is a model of a chubby little toad stuffing his face.
These are not tested If you make it be sure to tell and see how it works. Thank you!
The Greedy Pig Bank. Use the file “test your size” to test the size you will need the lid. This is a print for dual colours.
A working Pythagorean cup — also called the greedy cup or cup of justice (κύλιξ τῆς δικαιοσύνης). Attributed to Pythagoras of Samos around the 6th century BC, it's a vessel that rewards moderation: fill it modestly and it holds liquid…
This is a 3D model based off a classic Pythagoras Greedy Cup, were if you pour a liquid past a certain amount, the cup will spill the liquid out of the bottom. This model recreates the traditional design to play with, or maybe prank…

Instructions: remove the half parts before printing in your slicer. Tip: do not remove one of the halfs if you want one as decoration

A Pythagorean cup (also known as a Pythagoras cup , Greedy Cup , Cup of Justice or Tantalus cup is a practical joke device in a form of a drinking cup, credited to Pythagoras of Samos. When it is filled beyond a certain point, a siphoning…
The bottom is hollow, so it needs some support, and the whole thing can be printed hollow like an insulated cup. I can't guarantee effective insulation. The siphon has been built into the wall. Consideration was taken to prevent the…
This planter uses a bell siphon or greedy siphon to really punish you for over watering your plant! Be careful and do not use in an area that can't get wet, this is a fun gag and prints all in one piece no support needed.
This is not the original version of the greedy cup but as a redesign that is much more nicer and kinder.
