A theoretically simple but in practice quite complicated part to for connecting a TYT MD-UV390 (optionally plus) to a KlickFast style dock. This is a minimal approach to produce a small but secure alternative to a standard belt clip…
To standardise all my equipment, I wanted my new Baofeng UV-5RH radio to have a Klickfast stud, so I fired up the 3d printer and printed out the Klickfast for Baofeng UV-5R by Hoopajoo on Thingiverse (…

Printing in PETG is advised. The radio is basically a toy and so is this adapter stud. The profile for the original belt clip is not designed to handle the torque caused be rotating the radio in a KlickFast dock. This stud will break of…
Printed on Bambu A1 without supports. Includes little indents for the slightly raised threads on the body. Doesn't interfere with the lanyard holes and battery is removable still.
I printed this in PETG with 100% infill to give strength to the cylinder section in particular, printed on Bambu A1.
Loved the design and fits perfect on one of my backpacks. My other pack has skinnier straps on the shoulders, so I filled in the strap openings to fit the 20mm wide straps on my second pack.
