The Mellow CPAP blower is pretty loud, and has a high pitch whine to it. This silencer fixes it! It's designed if your blower is panel mounted, and sits right on the intake. I measured negligible CFM or airspeed losses, and it takes away that high pitch the fan makes, and generally quiets it down quite a bit.
This is the final iteration after numerous CFD analysis, and real-world testing. Dual intakes to limit any flow losses, baffles inside as well as ridges along the inner walls. The main opening is 40mm.
