A simple 2x2 bin with some finger holes cut through the sides to store a MacBook charger. Also useful for chargers of similar size by Anker or other brands (as shown in photos). Designed for North America and Japanese chargers, but if you remove the mains attachment module, it will fit any country (and then you can make a separate bit just for the module).

Many of Apple's larger MacBook-style chargers fit in the same dimensions (as of now). This includes the 96W and the 87W chargers. I believe the 70W charger is slightly smaller, but would still require a 2x2 to lay flat (so this still works, just loosely), and the 140W is a bit too large and would need a 3x2.

Assuming you're using the NA/JP charger, the prongs actually stick out just a millimeter or so from the charger itself, to make them easier to flip out. Unfortunately, this actually makes it just a hair larger than the ledge to make the bin stackable. A remix to cut out the corner of the ledge could fix this, but I find that it's not really an issue. You can either slide in the charger at an angle (kind of like an AA battery), or just let it click in. Since it's just the ledge, it'll slide down the rest of the way easily.

Printing recommendations

Honestly just print it however you print the rest of your bins, it's just a basic 2x2x5 bin with holes in the sides. For me, I change the following settings:

  • Material: PLA Matte
  • Infill: Gyroid, 8%

Everything else I just leave default on my Bambu X1 Carbon.
