These TapTo phone stands come with a card slot as well as a storage compartment at the back for your TapTo cards. It's intended to be used with the TapTo Life app.
This has only been tested with my Pixel 7 and my iPhone 13 Pro so compatibility is not guaranteed with all phones.
The Pixel 7 works flawlessly with both the vertical and horizontal stand. The NFC antenna is actually so strong that it can accidentally scan cards in the storage compartment on the vertical stand. In order to prevent this from happening, I've wrapped an unused NFC card I have in aluminum foil to keep in the storage compartment closest to the phone, this seems to negate any false scans. This is not a problem with the horizontal stand.
The iPhone 13 Pro however has a terrible NFC antenna where it is very particular about where the NFC token needs to be in order to be picked up, namely at the top of the phone, this prevents it from being usable with the horizontal stand, but it appears to work fine with the vertical stand.
Both stands print without supports, but take a bit of time.
