A set of brackets I have designed to mount my plate lower on my 2009 mazda mx5 NC2 to make space for fangs :D

The bracket uses two of the holes holding the shield together and slots into the plastic part above it. Not very sturdy but should work fine.
Assembly
The mount is designed for M2 inserts for mounting the plate. E-Mail me at [email protected] if you want me to modify it for your needs ( free ofc ;P ) or you may modify the CAD model attached
after printing, you need to use slightly longer m5 screws than those that came with the car to mount it
The plate can be either glued to the brackets, drilled and screwed or you can screw in a plate holder.
