I had some clear PETG laying around so I basically wanted to create windows for the riser part (knowing well that I will not see through it at all).
I recommend cutting the model in slicer at 45° to slightly hide the cut.
Printed on K1 with 0.4 nozzle.
Make sure to clean the tabs of support material well, because I tried to force one plate onto the frame and it resulted in 2 broken tabs : (
Print settings:
- bumped up my regular petg flow ratio (1.016 → 1.15)
- 0.2 layer height
- 0 top shell layers
- 0 bottom shell layers
- 100% aligned rectilinear infill
- 0 degrees solid infill direction
- rotate solid infill direction OFF
- first layer 40mm/s
- outer layer 100mm/s
- others 150mm/s
- automatic tree supports (buildplate only)
Print settings are only added to give you a place to start, they can be improved (a lot), but I was satisfied with the result.
