I keep my ERCF on the side of my Voron 2.4 and the spools are on the table on rollers underneath it. I usually just load filament to the ERCF, and remove it after print, so there is no benefit to roll it to the buffer. This is an ugly piece (please remix it to be prettier) that allows super easily to add a “freewheel” to the end of the buffer to feed filament straight in.
I know the ERCF has the bypass port, but it goes through the electronics box and then I don't get the synced extruders, which I like.
Inside the roller fits 608zz bearing. You can print those if you don't have any.
Printing of the body needs supports. I used Prusa slicers “snug ” supports, and they were easy to remove.
