I needed a way to keep my phone off the countertop next to the range. This is what I over designed.

The design is intended to fit as many phone like devices as I could within the area I had available. Fits devices up to 250mm long & 88mm wide. Though you can put up to 117mm devices if you don't mind the steeper angle having an increased fall risk.
The slope is 20deg from vertical one the back face, though most devices will slump a bit, thus increasing the angle.
The left side has a wall to prevent the device from sliding toward danger (My use case was to the right of the oven/range.
You should not need supports. It was designed to be screw mounted, but you could risk Command strips if you choose.
