MFT 3 - T-Nut Plus Collection

The MFT 3 T-Nut Plus is a fully 3D-printed upgrade for the Festool MFT/3 multifunction table. Unlike standard T-nuts, this innovative design includes a built-in locking lever for precise positioning. The print-in-place mechanism is easy to assemble and offers exceptional utility.

Each version is available in Standard and X-Strong, where X-Strong enhances holding power by engaging both the T-slot and the top "V" of the profile for maximum strength.

Main Versions

Dovetail: Modular
Designed for attaching accessories with matching dovetails.

• Included Accessories:
  • Pipe clips: Available for diameters 4–300 mm.
  • Screw-compatible versions: For M4/M5 countersunk screws or <5 mm self-tapping screws.
• Customization:
  Includes a STEP file for users who want to add dovetails to other parts.

Cable Tie: Quick
Optimized for cable management, supporting cable ties up to 15 mm wide.

Hook: Practical
Holds tools, bags, cables, helmets, and more.

Hook / Clip Mount: Adaptable
Fits most measuring tapes and power tool belt hooks, with a max width of 28 mm and hook thickness up to 8 mm. The clip mechanism accommodates clips that open up to 2.5 mm, ensuring compatibility with even very tight clips.

M5 Nut: Versatile
Designed for standard accessories using M5 nuts.

• Included Accessories:
  • Gridfinity Brackets:
    • Attach a 5x5 base for 2U Gridfinity containers, mounted just below the table surface.
    • Enables organized storage while preserving table usability.

Roll (Vertical & Horizontal): Handy
For holding rolls with an inner diameter of 22 mm or more.

• Horizontal Version: Securely holds rolls of any length using two units, with lockable positioning.
• Vertical Version: Space-saving design ideal for smaller rolls (e.g., tape).
• Optional End Caps: Threaded caps in 30 mm and 50 mm diameters for added security.

Magnet: Effortless
Designed for accessories that need quick attachment/detachment using two Ø8x2 mm snap-fit magnets.

• Compact and Efficient: Weighs 15g and prints in about 25 minutes (excluding printer startup).

C. Recommended Materials:

• PLA for general use.
• ASA or Nylon for higher durability in demanding applications.

D. Printing Tips:

• Avoid speeds above 80–100mm/s to prevent the lever from fusing.
• Recommended min wall thickness: 2mm
• Print the first layer of the lever in contrasting colors for better visibility.
