TOOLHEAD SHROUD UPDATE::
After some positive feedback I've altered a few things slightly with a view to more tolerance for everyone.
updates include:
1.top of tool head cover made larger to fit alterations you may have made to cable feed.
2. removed a part from the side so the lidar is a lot easier to connect
3. increase hole sizes slightly for easier fit.
4. took 2 mm of the front so it doesn't hit door at max range.
5.increase wall with on threaded are and decreased threads for a very easy fit now .
6. added a picture of print orientation and supports which are tree supports manual
anymore feedback would be great as i want this to work brilliant .
hi you wonderful people here's my new design for the k series creality printers , its the vortex tool head fan duct , it comes in 4 parts the tool head cover you can print in any material you like as it doesn't get hot but please print the rest in ABS,ASA that's my recommendation . what I've done is rework the tool head as it was very noisy and not distributing the airflow correctly but now it is and it works like a vortex as air is sucked in and follows a path i created to it circulates around the whole nozzle. hope you all like and send me your finished parts on here and let me see them .

post update : im going to add some more instructions here :
- fan shroud ie largest piece can be printed out of any material.
- the 3 duct parts printed in asa/abs or anything that can hold the heat better .
- please use a little file to file out holes as ive got feed back that these can be very tight
- to install the shroud assemble the 3 abs parts together as the lower part screws in to upper part be careful not to damage threads .
- once these three parts are assembled slide over silcone nozzle boot hold in place then slide shroud part way on this is a wee bit fiddly but the best option for a snug fit
- onece youve done that carefully move cable chain back a touch and slide shorud onto the top pins whilst holding lower part
- once this is done tighten lower airflow screw in duct tight onto shroud replace screws and your good to go
