Summary

This is an adapter to designed to fit over the Nothing Ear speaker and slot into the filter space for a Sensaphonics ear plug. It's also small enough that you can keep the adapter on your Nothing Ear while charging your buds in the case!

Sensaphonics allows you to work with an audiologist to make a mold of your ear canal and create custom designed ear plugs to protect your ears. This allows you to remove those protective filters and turn the plugs into perfectly molded ear tips for your ear buds!

Keep in mind that this funnels sound directly to your ear, so turn down the buds on the first test run!

Printing

I recommend using the 3mf or bgcode provided, assuming you use PrusaSlicer or another slicer that supports these file types. These are already configured with the supports manually painted.

If you need to do it yourself, download the stl and add manual supports under the rectangular port ONLY, with the model oriented so that the rectangular port faces down.

For my print, I used Tough PLA, which seems to hold up fine.

Additional Notes

The print is designed to be snug. You may need to wiggle back and forth and push a little to get the speaker to slide into the rectangular port. It's okay if the print flexes or bends a little.

The filter (circular) side should slide comfortably into the filter port on the ear plug, and fit snugly with little issue. You may need to gently flex the silicone to slide it in, but it shouldn't resist much.
