Kuwait Towers
The iconic towers in Kuwait, which serves as a water reservoir and a tourist attraction in Kuwait City. With a Viewing Sphere, 123 meters above sea level, the sphere features a revolving platform which completes a 360° rotation every 30 minutes.
The design is based on the towers schematics.
Print Notes:
The Ring, which is part of the biggest sphere, is separately placed beside the design for easy printing without supports. Simply place it over the biggest sphere in the designated place.
Using Fuzzy Skin for just the non glass part of the sphere gives a nicer more realistic look.
Two sizes are provided, 20cm and 30cm tall models, it's better going taller if you can, scaling down less than 20cm might effect the look of the tower tips.
“Big Tower” STL file is included for my 3D Printing class, to train the participants on how to deal with STL files and printing issues, so it's not meant for every one, please don't complain if you do print it ;)
