This bit holder is intended to be mounted near the motor. I’m not sure how much placing a permanent magnet near a DC motor would affect its lifespan or efficiency, but I guess it's better to pick the magnet that's not too strong. (I've uploaded the .step file so that it's possible to alter the magnet slot size to suit your dimensions)

Designed for the Metabo PowerMaxx cordless drill since it doesnt have any bit holder of its own. It is also compatible with the BS 18 and similar models.
In addition to this model, the following components are required:
- magnet 20x5x5 mm
- screw ⌀3 mm x 16 mm (the original screw is too short to secure the holder properly)
Printed with supports on build plate, 4 perimeters, .15 layer height in PETG with ironing of the topmost surface.
