A low-profile, streamlined handlebar clamp designed to securely mount a standard 12mm round push-button switch directly onto standard 22mm bicycle or e-bike handlebars. This is an ideal solution for cleanly routing custom DIY cockpit controls, such as auxiliary bike lights, horns, or custom motor triggers.

This V2 design features an improved wrapping contour and integrates hidden hardware to keep the installation as compact and flush as possible.

Required Hardware:

  • 1x Standard 12mm round push-button waterproof switch

  • 1x M4 Heat-Set Threaded Insert

  • 1x M4 x 10mm bolt

Smart Assembly Trick (No-Melting Insert Method):

  • This part utilizes a unique material-flex assembly method to avoid melting heat inserts into thin outer walls. Print the model using a flexible engineering filament like Nylon.

  • Because Nylon provides excellent lateral flexibility, you can gently flex the printed clamp opening open just enough to slide/push the M4 brass insert directly into its internal pocket from the side without needing a soldering iron.

Recommended Print Settings:

  • Material: Nylon, PCTG, or PETG highly recommended. Nylon is ideal if you want to utilize the lateral press-fit assembly trick mentioned above. Brittle PLA is not recommended as the clamp needs to flex slightly to snap over the 22mm bar.

  • Orientation: Print flat on its side for maximum layer strength along the clamping loop.
