I am planning to mount a purge bucket and a nozzle brush on my ender3 v2 for my MMU upgrade.

When I do my research, almost everything I find is mounted on the right side but I already have too many things mounted on the right.

The left side obviously have ZERO clearance between the nozzle and the bed.

So I made this cover which extend the x-axis extrusion and move the endstop further left.

I got about 25mm extra travel on the x-axis. I think this should be enough for whatever I am going to do on my ender3.

The top left wheel screw (view from the front) shall be flipped so that the screw head is at the back and clears the plate.

Printing and Assembly

No slicer support needed.

Remove built-in support at the printed 2020 extrusion so that the belt can run inside the slot.

Leave the limitswitch slightly loose so that you can adjust the position to wherever you want and tighten it down from the front.

I recommend setting the extra travel in the negative direction so that the bed original remains unchanged.

Disclaimer

I do NOT know how well the short piece of printed 2020 extrusion can hold under the weight of the tool head.
I do NOT know whether this thing will damage/ speed up the wear of the wheels.
