The Beyerdynamic DT48 is a legendary headphone that was introduced in 1937 and remained the same until it was discontinued in 2012. Unfortunately, replacement ear pads are limited. This adapter allows you to use Beyerdynamic DT990 ear pads on your vintage DT48 headphones.
Assembly Instructions:
- Use needle nose pliers to expand lock ring and place into ear cup mounting groove
- Place adapter plate over lock ring and align locking lugs so the plate can be pushed down onto headphone body.
- Hold adapter plate and turn lock ring clockwise using needle nose pliers until it locks in past the detent.
- Mount DT 990 pads
