Based on my basic thrust ball bearing design, I increased the outer diameter to 200mm, added a top plate with ribs for support, and added hidden clips to secure the top and bottom pieces while still spinning freely!
This comes in 3 pieces: top, bottom, and ball cage. Both top and bottom are printed with the raceway facing up for the smoothest possible raceway and to avoid support material. The ball cage keeps the balls evenly spaced and requires fewer balls.
To assemble, place top face down, cover with the ball cage, add a 6mm Airsoft BB in each ball cage hole, and gently press bottom down over balls until all six clips are engaged. Once the bottom is fully seated, it will spin without falling apart.
