This little shunter will happily pull around your Brio and Ikea trains.
Parts List:
- 6x M2 cap head screws 6-12mm length
- 6x M2 washers
- 2x 10x4x3mm ring magnets
- 2x 10mm diameter metal push pins
- A touch of CA glue
Printing Instructions:
- Print 6 wheels, flat side down
- Print one base piece, upside down orientation, some supports are required.
- Print one each core and cover, some supports are required.
Assembly should be fairly straightforward.
- The wheels are each secured to the base with an M2 cap head screw, with a washer in-between the wheel and the base.
- The core sits in the slot in the base, with the smoke stack at the open end of the slot. A drop or two of CA glue holds them together.
- Finally the cover piece slides on top. Be aware that any stringing will need to be removed prior to assembly. Again use CA glue to secure the parts.
- The ring magnets go on the nubs on either end, and the tacks go in the holes to secure them in place.
