Vallhorn outdoor case
This is a case for using the Vallhorn sensor outdoors with more protection from the elements. Also I don't like the appearance from the sensor in my garden so I designed something that looks like a small bird house that fits in the outdoor theme much better than just a squire block.
wall mounted
There are 3 versions available. The first one I designed was a wall mounted version to just hook it on the wall. While designing i put my sensor in the box and found out it is very difficult to take the sensor out. So I made a hole on the bottom of the box to make it easier to take the sensor out. The flex cover is made to fill in this gap.
Garden Spike
The model with the garden spike is more or less the same as the wall mounted version. The only difference is the garden spike in the place of the flex cover. It can be fixed in place with some glue.
25° wall mounted
While I was testing the sensor I also intended to use it for my garden gate. But I couldn't hang it just next to the gate and didn't like it to hang in arm's reach. So to make it less easy to steal the sensor I have mounted it above the door with a 25° angle. To make instal easy it is designed with a slide system that can be locked with 2 M3 bolts.
