Stackable SMD Reel Cut Container
Inspired by other SMD reel cut container solutions, I wanted to create one that would fit for my purpose. This container prints quite fast and can hold up to 500 SMD parts (0402/0603/0805).
Maximum dimensions:
- Roll diameter: 30mm
- Tape width: 8mm
- Tape thickness: 1mm
The containers can be easily printed without support and are designed to be stacked like building bricks, eliminating the need for mounting rails, etc.
To close a row of containers, there is also a lid that can be easily snapped onto the containers.
Recommended print settings
- Filament: PLA
- Layer height: 0.2mm
- Nozzle: 0.4mm
- Infill: cubic / 30%
- Speed: quite fast
- Brim / Supports not required
Attention:
Please bear in mind that you probably shouldn't keep your super pricy (e.g. M55342K12B200ETWLT) parts inside those containers because the rolling mechanism sometimes causes the last part falling out of the tray
