I was unhappy about the amount of desiccant I could fit in the built-in slots in the Eibos Polyphemus dryer, so I made this insert canister to hold more!

Highlights:

- Holds 250g of desiccant
- Fits securely in the built-in slots
- Good surface area for moisture absorption
- Made to fit standard 1kg spools with a diameter of 20cm
- Desiccant is secured with printable plug
- Includes an internal funnel so that the desiccant can be easily removed again
- Costs only about 55g of filament to print
- Prints without supports

Since the dryer will presumably be heating, the canister should be printed in at least PETG which is what I used. I printed with my default 0.2mm profile with no special considerations. I did get a bit of stringing, maybe because my filament wasn't properly dry. With this, I should have no such problems in the future!

Let me know if you have any problems, and I'm happy to modify the design if something doesn't work well for you for some reason.

The grid spacing is 1mm, which I fine for the desiccant beads I use. Let me know if there is interest in versions with different spacing.

All print files are included in both .stl and .step. If you have trouble printing the plug with good enough tolerance, I have also included a version with slightly looser tolerances. On my printer, the regular file worked fine. The canister is designed to be printed in the upright position without supports. I printed with a brim to ensure the tall canister didn't fall over on my bedslinger, but that's up to you and your printer.
