Height increase adapter for an IKEA LACK table

This height increase adapter is designed for a press fit (also known as an interference fit). For my setup, it was a tight fit that required a little bit of force to install, but no extra parts like screws were needed.

Testing the Fit: To ensure it works well for you, you can first print the included Tischfuss_test part. This allows you to check if the dimensions provide a sufficiently tight fit with your specific table leg and printer calibration before printing the final adapters.

Optional Features (If Press Fit Isn't Sufficient):

The design includes two pre-designed locations for potential holes as a backup solution:

• Important Printing Note: When preparing the model for printing (slicing), make sure you use enough top layers. To ensure that while opening the holes you don't end up exposing the infill structure. 

1  Screw Mounting:

• If the press fit isn't secure enough, you can drill out these potential holes in the adapter. This allows you to use screws to firmly attach the adapter.

2  Adding Weight for Stability:

• Alternatively, if you only need more stability, you can drill out just the upper potential hole location.
• This opening allows you to fill the adapter's internal cavity with sand or similar dense material to add weight before assembly.

You can also do both and put in sand after attaching the screw; then you need to glue the Deckel.stl part inside the lower hole — this part is otherwise not needed.

(Note: In my own case, the standard press fit was sufficient, and I did not need to use screws or add extra weight.)
