This stand was created as the existing phone stands were made for desktop placement (or other hard surfaces. I tend to have my phone propped up and wanted a replacement for the CD spindle I used for that purpose until recently.

For printing, split the two parts in the STL and place the rest either in the center of or next to the base (or separately, like I did due to a few increments). I already did that in the attached 3mf.

After printing, just press the phone rest into the base - it's designed with an allowance of 0.1mm which worked for my A1.

Variables for screen width (offset_screen), phone angle and others can be found and modifed at the top of the openscad file.

Improvements and addons I consider:

  •  getting a compact Q charger to place in the phone rest
  • optional screws (doesn't seem to be needed as of now, but with the charger, it will)
  • figuring out the placement of the phone rest for a single print bed export (it's off by something around 0.001mm when after moving and rotating it), comments welcome
