I really liked the original model but had a couple of issues with spools of different size not fitting well.
The remix addresses those by:
- Using larger rollers with deeper grooves to hold spools more securely
- Re-positioning groves to give more clearance with the bed
- Adjustable top mount with Annex-style clip (updated clip with larger grip included)
The remix is compatible with the original plugs (STL included) and hardware:
- 3x 608-2Z - Deep groove ball bearing ("Skateboard Bearing")
- 3x M3x12 SHCS
- 4x M3x6 BHCS
- 3x Voron type heat insert (Short M3x5x4)
The adjustable top mount is an ugly print with supports, but that's the best I could come up with quickly.
Including a fixed mounted one as in original for those who don't want to bother with that print but want larger rolls.
