Embed either a 5x3 keystone panel, or a power grommet into a lovesac side. The mount is designed to intended to attach under the cover to hide, and the panel is removable if the M3 screws are removed.
I created this on my own using measurements from my lovesac side. The Voron skirt's keystone was used to create the keystone mounts. It doesn't interface as smoothly as I would like with actual keystones, but I don't have the time to fiddle with that at the moment. There's a blank panel included if you want to create your own.
Hardware:
M3 3x4x5 heat set inserts (recommend 4, up to 8)
M3x8 Socket Head Cap Screws (recommend 4, up to 8)
Additional Hardware:
Keystone:
Passthrough(s) of your choosing
USB-A
USB-C
HDMI (ie, to a TV or something)
Aux
etc
USB PD warts, Docks, etc to provide power
Grommets:
Any 2" / 2.5" / 3" Power Grommet
Assembly:
Attach 4-8 heat sets inserts to the back of the mount (3-4 is realistically enough)
For v1.1 (no IRL picture), these go in at an angle - they should be pushed in flush with the outer angled edge.
Place mount in couch
Insert “fins” into mount (If you want to require panel removal before mount removal.
Route cables through side and to back of panel
Keystones:
This means hooking up the back of the keystones
Grommet
This means attaching the grommet to the panel
Place panel into mount. Secure with M3 screws.
Attach lovesac cover.
Update Notes:
1.1
- Screws are actually captive in the panels now, so the panel should actively hold the mount together and prevent it from flexing.
- Added 2.5" / 3" grommets
