Slip-on rim protectors for standard triple-flanged drum rims. Also useful for doing coloured rims for E-Drums for Clone Hero - as shown on my Alesis Surge Kit.
Designed to be printed with TPU/Filaments with some flex.
Designed for printing with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.25mm first layer and .2mm layer.s
Other parameters are your choice but I have used 4 top and bottom layers, 1 outer wall @ 0.8mm line width and 20% Gyroid infill with 0.8mm line width. They're sturdy, have good flex and absorb impact well.
These are all single piece so you need to have a large printer. I printed the 8" and 10" version on my Mercury One.1+ (370x370 bed).
Despite the impracticality of printing with FDM I have also included files for protectors all the way up to 18" for if you have access to SLA printing.
