I loved the design of the original model but I also had this dock and wanted to store it the same way. It is designed to work with the UGreen Mac Mini M4 dock, and it may work with other similar docks but it may not. It solved my problem so hopefully it can solve yours.
No support needed, but you may want to sand down the little ledges as the it can droop a tiny bit making it hard to fit.
I printed this out of PETG but I assume PLA would work fine, I have had no issues with it coming loose or falling, but you do use this model at your own risk.
