This 3D printable case is designed specifically for the HackerBox Fox Hunt amateur radio direction-finding kit.
It provides a snug, secure fit for the ESP32 T-Display, SA818 module, and PCB, while leaving access to all key controls, antenna, and display.

The front face has cutouts for five control buttons and the screen, while the side features an additional cutout for the sixth button.
The back panel includes a custom skull-and-antenna graphic (optional print-in-place skull graphic for extra style).
The design is screw-secured with threaded heat inserts at each corner for maximum durability, making it ideal for field use during fox hunts or other portable operations.

Whether you’re tracking a hidden transmitter or just protecting your Fox Hunt kit from dust, bumps, and knocks, this enclosure keeps your gear safe and looking awesome.

Printing Instructions

Printer Type: FDM (Preferred: Prusa XL – Dual Toolhead or greater)
Material: PETG recommended for outdoor use (other materials work as well)
Layer Height: 0.15 mm (Structural Profile)
Infill: 100% for maximum strength
Supports: Not required for any of the parts
Orientation: Print both halves flat on the bed for best strength
Assembly: Heat-press M3 × 6 mm × 5 mm threaded inserts into each corner, then secure with M3 × 18 mm screws (x4) at each corner

Optional:

Print the case back with skull using a Prusa XL dual toolhead and the provided .3mf file

Or, add the skull to the back of the case using the provided .svg file and print it on any multicolor FDM printer. I scaled the svg to 39.28 x 95.80 mm with a depth of 0.6mm and have use surface checked.
