Anyone that has this bandsaw knows that while it's nice that this affordable saw has guide bearings, the bracket for them is too deep making the bearings to far forward and allowing them to come in contact with the blade teeth. This part fixes that problem allowing the bearings to be set back far enough as to not contact the teeth. The upper bearing also experiences this issue but it can be easily resolved by trimming the plastic back. The bottom is surrounded by all metal so this adapter is needed.
This may work for other similarity sized bandsaws as these small saws are all pretty much the same structurally with just a different skin on them so to speak.
