This is a display cover with a clear window, to almost see, what happens on the LCD.
Main functions:
- dirt protection
- LCD look through
This is my first model and since i don't have the 3D file of the display, i tried to generate a cover with a good fit by measureing the real display.
- wall thickness - 1,2mm
- LCD area thickness - 0,2mm => only one layer
I hope i included all necessary files.
Print tips:
- Use ironing for the LCD area, but not until the transition to the black body, otherwise the connection is too weak. => leave 2-4mm not ironed surface.
- Let the print cool down and carefully remove the model from the print bed
My print setup:
- Prusa Core One with MMU3
- 0,2mm layer height with 0,4mm nozzle
- Color 1 - Prusament PETG Jet Black
- Color 2 - Prusament PETG Signal White
- Color 3 - Prusament PETG Clear
