Kryptonite Evolution Mini-7 Lock Mount for KuKirin G2 Pro

This is a custom-designed mount to securely attach a Kryptonite Evolution Mini-7 U-lock to the frame of a KuKirin G2 Pro e-scooter.

The two-piece clamp design allows for easy installation without having to disassemble other parts of the scooter. It provides a snug fit to prevent rattling while riding. While designed specifically for the G2 Pro, it might also fit other scooters with a similarly shaped stem tube. 

Hardware Needed:

• 4x M3 screws, thread length ~20mm 
• 4x M3 hex nuts 
• 8x M3 washer, outer diameter 7mm, thickness ~0,9mm

Printing:

• Material: I recommend using PETG, ASA, or ABS for better durability and UV resistance.
• Infill: 25-40% for good strength. I did 20% gyroid and added modifiers with 40% adaptive cubic infill in the screw areas.
• Walls/Perimeters: For high strength, use 4 to 5 walls (perimeters).
• Top/Bottom Layers: Use 4 to 5 solid layers for both the top and bottom.
• Layer Height: 0.12mm
• Supports: No

Assembly:

1. Print the parts.
2. Slide the washers in the slots near the hexagonal openings for the nuts. 
3. Press the M3 hex nuts into their dedicated slots on one half of the clamp. 
4. Position the two parts around the scooters stem. 
5. Insert the M3 screws with the washers and tighten them evenly until the mount is secure.
6. Replace the bracket on the steel shackle with the sleeve.
