🍁 Interchangeable Downspout Ground Support – Printable Design (Two Versions)

Protect your lawn and landscape with this versatile, 3D-printable downspout ground support system! Designed with an interchangeable connector, this support allows you to switch between two attachment styles: a coil for hard surfaces and a pointed spike for soft soil. Both attachments share the same thread dimension, making them fully interchangeable and adaptable to varying ground conditions.

By elevating the downspout slightly off the ground, this support helps prevent dead spots in your lawn and promotes proper water drainage—keeping your yard healthy and green.

🛠 Two Versions Included

This download includes two design variations:

• Version 1: Standard printable design with interchangeable coil and spike attachments.
• Version 2: Enhanced concept featuring a central cavity for inserting a stiff metal rod (recommended over a wire coat hanger, which proved too soft). This version is ideal for users who wish to reinforce the spike using epoxy resin and a rigid metal rod down the centre. You’ll need to glue or epoxy the rod in place manually.

Note: For optimal strength, printing the spike at a 45-degree angle is recommended. However, this feature is not yet integrated due to CAD limitations.
