This is a very simple, easy-print smooth floor nozzle I put together for my Numatic “Henry” vacuum cleaner. I was unhappy with the original nozzle because it had a tendency for my wife's long hair to become tangled in the brush, and on the small wheels, as well as for pieces of thin, stiff material to plug the nozzle at the intake area.
This nozzle was designed to solve those problems. The opening is the smallest portion of the entire assembly, so if it passes through the opening, it will pass all the way into the bag without catching. Additionally, the intake area is somewhat smaller and more restricted, giving superior pickup of the cat litter that is one of the primary things I clean up with it.
The nozzle is provided in a 6" width, and a larger 10" width, they both print and work the same way. No supports are required, and I printed mine in PETG, but PLA would work just fine as well. You will definitely want to use a brim, since the contact area is small, but all four I have printed to this point during the development worked just fine.
