Extends the end of the eyepieces away from the lenses between 8 and 12.5mm (½" ish) without changing focus which also shifts the eye cup mount point allowing for better head alignment with the fairly unforgiving eye box these have.
Comes in two parts; a fixed adapter and the extensions themselves, so less printing needed if you want to use a different length. These should work on any eyepieces that use a M33 thread for the lens retainer.
The 8.5mm extension works best for me, but there's 10 lengths available in 0.5mm steps.
The adapter threads onto the WF10X/20 eyepiece lenses by removing the lens element retaining ring, and the extenders thread onto that. Make sure not to drop the lens when doing this. it should be fairly difficult to do such without tilting the entire eyepiece on its side, but getting dust out from the inside of the optic is annoying and you wont want to risk damaging the lens.
I printed both parts in a matte-is ABS with 0.4mm line width, 0.2mm layer height, and 100.75% horizontal shrinkage compensation. The adapters thread on the eyepiece super cleanly, however they have a M33x0.75mm thread, so your printer must be decently tuned. They are positioned correctly for optimal printing by default.
The extensions are using a more generous m32x1.5 thread, so the tolerances are a lot looser. Might even work with TPU for those, no idea, try it and let me know!
