Dial-type battery source switch label plate
There is a common type of battery source switch, for 12-24V DC systems, primarily marine setups.
The switch is sometimes called a "Marine Battery Isolator Master Switch", or a "Contour Surface or Recessed Manual Battery Master Switch".
I chose to use one of these switches for a DC power project. The switch is robust but the lettering is hard to read, even in ideal conditions. I modeled the switch top and created a one-part or two-part rigid label plate that does not interfere with the switch.
While the piece can be printed all at once, I find that printing two parts separately and gluing them together with CA glue produces a faster and better result than printing a single piece with a huge support raft.
Naturally the labels are easy to change. OpenSCAD source is included.
