Easy-thread, quick-screw (I had to say it sorry) fiesta! A plethora of containers with easy-thread screw-tops. I was not satisfied with my previous creation due to a lack of deboss resulting in unsightly seamlines. Also the walls were just thin enough where a tight grip would deform the shape just enough to make screwing difficult at times. I believe this iteration solves both problems. My OCD is happy and so is my workshop. Sharing as is customary.
Available dimensions (All files are .step excepting a few 3mf demo models):
Diameter: (measured from exterior walls, so +4d from actual interior D) - 30mm, 60mm, 90mm, 120mm, 150mm, 180mm
Height (measured from base to threads - add 15mm for full height exterior dimension) 30mm, 60mm, 90mm, 120mm, 150mm, 180mm (except 180d, which also includes 210h, if you go big, go BIG)
Files are all organized in folder by diameter. There is one lid per corresponding diameter. Every diameter has 6 different heights, as listed above. All files are .step excepting a few 3mf demo models.
I printed at both 2 and 3 walls 15% infill with equal success. Ditto results at 0.2 and 0.24 layer
Pro tip: you can screw the lids on “loosely” or you can give them a firm twist to lock them down. I tried to convey this in the video.
Last, if you none of these models suit your particular need send me a message I can quickly model custom sizes if xyz are the only variables.
UPDATE: added 180mm diameter and 180mm Height models models per request
UPDATE II: Created a parametric model so you can design your own custom sizes in Fusion 360. Download available HERE
Cheers!
