When buying the 3D Printer, I bought the dryer hoping to have the filament go from the ports coming out of the dryer, and feed directly into the nozzle chamber. Though I soon realized the FlashForge Adventurer 5M didn't have enough torque to pull the filament directly into it, for it also required the filament to pass through a primary filament sensor.

But after a lot of trial and error, and learning what 3D Printing can and cannot do, I managed to get this out of it. It follows a very close tolerance, so you may need to give the tube a little chamfer to squeeze inside the port (also I found rotating the tube helps it squeeze inside farther). As you'll notice, I also left a smaller opening in the middle to allow filament to pass through, but also stop the tubes from contacting one another.

The primary dimensions I used are as followed:

  • Filament Diameter: 0.09"
  • Inner Tube Diameter: 0.10"
  • Outer Tube Diameter: 0.15"

I'm using PLA-Pro (PLA-CF) from FlashForge, I sliced the part on the long edge (hole facing up on Z-axis). And added support to make sure the vibrations don't snap the part of the bed. Otherwise used 0.12mm Fine and 0.4 Nozzle, and everything seems to work fine for me. You may want to also grab a small screwdriver bit, and expand the tube sides just a bit, to make it easier to fit the tubes in.
