This is a horizontal mount for a Bachmann STEP power strip. The clamshell distance that's aligned with the openGrid has been optimized for a single 5 outlet power strip.
I'm not sure how this will align with e.g. 2× STEP 5s with regard to the openGrid; I'm using it with a 5 + 3 and it works well enough.plated
I recommended using directional snaps, as the strip, especially when plugging in Schuko plugs, can exert quite a bit of force on the mount.
If necessary, I can generate other alignments as well, just ping me.
Be careful, these only fit the newer style STEP BASE power strips, e.g. P/N 906.18821. They will not fit the older ones (336.x, no “BACHMANN” labelling on the front of the strip).
