Modified the original design to sacrifice one button for IR functionality.
from the original BOM, add a:
- 2N2222 Transistor
- IR LED (Adafruit 388)
- 120 ohm resistor
- 10 ohm resistor
Test pad added for B+ straight from battery, the internal 3.3v regulator cannot handle 200 mA LED.
I sanded my led to make it flat on top, but it isn't required.
Please be mindful about your comfort with trace repair, my first design needed some bodge wires to work. I tried to fix them, however there still could be mistakes.
