Chamber Heater Mount for RatRig V-Core 4 (QIDI Plus 4 Heater)
This mount is designed to install the QIDI Tech 220 V chamber heater (the same one used in the QIDI Plus 4) inside a RatRig V-Core 4 enclosure.
It provides a clean and solid way to integrate active chamber heating without drilling into the frame or compromising airflow.
🧱 Print settings
Material: Use a heat-resistant filament such as ASA, ABS, PC, or CF-reinforced variants. Do not print this in PLA or PETG — it will deform over time.
Infill: 40 – 60 % recommended for rigidity.
Layer height: 0.3 mm or finer for best fit.
Supports: Depending on orientation, light supports may help under the mounting brackets.
⚙ Installation notes
The mount is dimensioned specifically for the QIDI chamber heater (220 V) linked below:

Make sure you route cables safely and use proper strain relief and insulation. The heater should be installed by someone who knows how to handle mains voltage (230 V AC) safely — this is not a plug-and-play mod.
⚠ Important safety disclaimer
You are fully responsible for your own wiring, installation, and safety.
This model is shared as-is and I take no responsibility whatsoever for any damage, fire, injury, or malfunction that may occur if you install a chamber heater in your printer.
Always double-check grounding, fusing, and cable insulation before powering up.
🧰 Notes
I designed this mount for my own V-Core 4 setup to achieve better chamber temperature control for high-temp materials like PC and Nylon. It’s been stable and efficient so far, but please treat this mod with respect — you’re working with high voltage.
