Yokai v3.5 Toolhead

ASSEMBLY GUIDE AND BOM
(Recently updated from v3 to v3.5, so some of the BOM might need some work)

Please let me know if you come across anything that needs to be added to the BOM.

QUICK TIP:

Get yourself an M3 and an M2.5 assorted hex screw box. I got one of each. You’ll find all the screws needed in those two boxes. It will save you a lot of trouble trying to source the screws separately. Then get your M3x5x4 heat inserts and M2.5x3.5x4 Heat inserts. That will sort you out for most of the BOM.

Hotends

Update Requests and STEP Files.

Please don't ask for STEP files; I don't share them
If you need anything added, then drop me a comment, and I can add it for you.

Update:

I have decided to share the step files with all of you. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
Please remember to give credit to my work and refrain from using it for commercial purposes.
Id really appreciate a like and make if you can. It makes all the hard work that I put into this a little more worth it when I see your cool setups.

Special thanks and honorable mentions
  • ClutchKick512, 3DOFFSET, 3DPrintSOS, and the Slice Engineering team for all the help with beta testing and encouragement in getting this project up and running so smoothly.

Updates:

  • Added Backplate with Omron Switch Mount

  • Adjusted the Mako/Bambu Hotend Mount. Microswiss will fit now.

  • Lowered the hotend mount for Bambu. Now it uses the same CPAP Duct and Eddy Mount as Rapido.
