The new Steam Machine has been announced!
Launching in Q1 2026, this PC running Steam OS will feature something interesting for the 3D printing community: an interchangable front panel !
This means one thing - endless possibilities to make the Steam Machine, truly yours.
Multi-Color printing is what's going to unlock the true creative potential of the front panel, however, interesting textured can be added as well.
Files include:
STEP file for the front panel (fittings for Ø8x2mm or thicker magnets)
STL file for the front panel (fittings for Ø8x2mm or thicker magnets)
STEP file for the whole Steam Machine Assembly (modeled using available source material as of 14th of November 2025)
V2 ADDED:
The updated version aims to fix some of the issue users have pointed out.
If you can help make this model better, please leave a comment. The Steam Machine is something that right now, is out of reach for many gamers due to price increase and doing real-life testing of the models is for us, currently impossible.
