I was struggling with some of the low voltage brackets I picked up online in the past either having funny dimensions, strange fillets/curves on the edges, or not quite being what I needed. Thus, I grabbed the dimensions of an On-Q branded store plate I liked and made a close to exact replica with universal sockets that fit like a glove.
STEP files are also included to easily throw in 3d software and add decals/designs.
These plates completely cover the box/bracket and extend outwards a few mm beyond the edge. The total dimensions are 119mm x 75mm with an inner dimension (back side opening) of 113mm x 69mm (nice). The holes are 83.30mm apart from center to center. For the 2-gang version, the ports are spaces 32mm apart center to center.
The fillet, which closely resembles a store model, has a very steep angle. Attempting to print this face down to optimize material will result in a horrible finish. Print the faceplate facing up and use supports.
