MiniITX PC NAS 6+2

The basis of this project was this model of HDD enclosure. Based on this model, I made my own version of NAS, with the disk formula 6*3.5”+2*2.5”.

In this project, you can use mini-ITX motherboards with a large number of SATA ports, as well as boards with the ability to install a separate controller. However, due to the limited space available for installing the controller, the range of suitable controllers is limited. In my case, this is an inexpensive LSI 9200-8I HBA controller.

The kit includes instructions in English and Russian. The instructions contain a list of necessary materials, parts, and accessories.

Основой этого проекта стала эта модель корпуса для HDD.

На основе этой модели я сделал свою версию NAS, с формулой дисков 6*3.5”+2*2.5”.

В этом проекте можно использовать материнские платы mini-ITXкак с большим количеством портов SATA, так и платы с возможностью установки отдельного контроллера. Но из-за ограниченного пространства для установки контроллера, ассортимент подходящих контроллеров ограничен. В моем случае это недорогой HBA-контроллер LSI 9200-8I.

В комплекте присутствует инструкция на английском и русском языках. В инструкции есть перечень необходимых материалов, деталей, комплектующих.

Added part "6_Rear panel of case_v2". This is a modification of "6_Rear panel of case" as a universal part, as different power supplies may have different locations for the power cable connector.
