This is a simple Cartographer V4 mount for the Creality K1 series printers. This mount allows access to the toolhead cover screw to make maintenance a little easier.
Update 9/19/26 : Added a version with ribs to help stiffen the mount. I had been informed that a few people were having issues with the mount shaking and/or bending. The ribs should help add some stability.
There are two covers, a simple one-piece mount as well as a two-piece mount that adds a press-fit bar in order to keep the cable from catching on something. Glue is recommended.
Screw tilt calibration is not required with this mount. X offset should be set at -18mm. If installing on SimpleAF, you will want to choose the Default mount during installation. Once installed, navigate to cartographer.cfg and change the x_offset to -18.0
This is designed for standard nozzle height. If your nozzle sits lower than standard, use the shims to bring the probe down lower. The probe should sit at 2.6-3mm above the bottom of the nozzle. You can check the spacing with one of the 3mm gauges I have included.
