Many 3d printers have aux fan that can be used to recirculate the air inside the chamber, which is very useful when printing in ABS/ASA.
Elegoo Centauri Carbon has a side/auxilary fan but it takes the air from the outside the chamber. This is great for PLA, but not so great for ABS/ASA.
This model with the cover closed, creates an air path so the case/chamber fan exhaust and aux fan intake is shorted so the air will recirculate. With the cover open, the air path is the stock/default, useful for when printing in PLA/PETG. I can simply reach around the printer and open/close it just by feel.
Originally printed in PLA while testing. I used the pla cover to re-print in abs (XY Compensated for best results to account for ABS shrinkage... I slotted the mounting holes for some wiggle room so might work without it).

2 - M3x20mm screw for the hinge
4 - 6mm(dia) x 3mm(height) magnets for latch
