I made this in Fusion to be able to measure the accuracy of different printers and materials when it comes to inserting magnets, in order to get the best fit possible.
By printing this quick test block, you can hand fit magnets into it to see which fitment is best for your design needs. The column on the left has varying diameters as described by the text, but consistent depth (3.45mm) so you can find the best diameter fit; the column on the right has consistent diameter (6.45mm), but varying depth as described by the text.
The print is meant to be done in single color, but I painted it in the slicer to make the photos easier to see. I do not recommend printing in multi-color, since it is not necessary and may skew results slightly depending on the painting done.
***IMPORTANT: You need to print this with the settings you are going to use to print whichever design you are working on that this is helping you with. If you are going to print the final design of the project you need magnets for in ABS with 6 walls and .16mm layer heights, printing this in PLA with 2 walls and .24 layer heights renders it useless. This is also necessary because your slicer will adjust where the magnet depths are based on layer heights; at .20mm+, expect 3-5 of the magnet depth holes to be the same depth***
I do plan on making more of these for common sizes, such as 8mm x 3mm, 10mm x 3mm, 15mm x 2mm, etc. so check my profile to see if I have added others yet.
