Ankermake M5 Enclosure

- Enclosure

This encloser is so strong and sturdy it can hold another M5 printer on top of it. This is due to using the existing structure of the M5 Z towers. The tower caps are replaced with slightly taller caps that have 2 threaded holes that allows the printer and enclosure to be bolted together with printable bolts. The bottom of the enclosure is designed to wrap around the base of the printer but allows the bottom to remain open to allow the motherboard, power supply and stepper motors to stay cool (These printers can overheat when fully enclosed). The bottom of the enclosure also has slots for Alien Tape or other double sided tapes. This may have been over kill and not really needed but will ensure no raddles and a more solid structure. The front door is 3/32 glass  and sides you can use foam board, cardboard, acrylic glass, real glass or anything you want that can fit up to 5.25mm

- Dry Box V1

Dry box has features for a USB fan that allows hot air from the encloser into the dry box to help keep filament dry and possibly even dry them out. Not only that but the fan helps control the temperature inside the encloser with the help of a temperature control plug you can purchase. There is an app version like the one I got (Link Below) or you can get a plug with a display (Link Below). I still need to work in a slot for the sensor. There is also an outflow vent that can be filled with silica gel. This is to reduce the amount humidity entering the dry box but allowing air to flow out. The dry box itself is locked in with the same printed bolts that lock the encloser to the z towers.
